You are invited to join  The Rev. Bob Dietel on a botanical tour on one the largest and most beautiful undeveloped forests on Camano Island from Saturday September 26.10:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

Bob, who is the pastor at Saint Aidan Episcopal Church in Stanwood, will share his expertise in not only giving us a rich picture of this beautiful part of God’s creation but also identify natural food we can forage in our forests.

We want to develop our 40 acres as a Celtic monastic eco-village where we show people how to develop sustainable spiritual practices and sustainable lifestyles for the turbulent times in which we live.  During our time together we will also share a handout on the project for those that are interested.

When you register for the tour we will send you a map so you can find us.  Bring a sandwich and we will bring some drinks and garden tomatoes we grew in our urban community in Seattle to add to your sandwiches.

Please register as soon as possible and join us for this tour of this lovely forest on Saturday September 26.
